Overview

Welcome to Mealbars (https://meal.bar/), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands. These Terms of Service govern your use of our webshop and the purchase of our mealbars. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

1.1: https://meal.bar/: The webshop operated by Mealbars, offering mealbars for sale.

1.2: Customer: Any natural person or legal entity purchasing products from Mealbars.
1.3: Agreement: The purchase agreement between Mealbars and the Customer for the delivery of mealbars.
1.4: Products: Mealbars (complete meals in a bar) offered for sale on https://meal.bar/.

2. Applicability

2.1 :These Terms of Service apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through https://meal.bar/.
2.2: Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.
2.3: By placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms of Service.
2.4: Mealbars reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service. Changes will be published on the website and apply to orders placed after the update.

3. Offers and Prices

3.1: All offers on https://meal.bar/ are non-binding and subject to availability.
3.2: Prices are in euros (€), or in local currency, including VAT, and exclude shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
3.3: Mealbars may adjust prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already placed.
3.4: Obvious errors in pricing (e.g., typographical errors) are not binding. Mealbars will inform the Customer and offer the option to cancel or proceed at the correct price.

4. Ordering and Agreement

4.1: An agreement is formed when the Customer places an order via the webshop and Mealbars confirms the order by email.
4.2: Mealbars reserves the right to refuse orders without providing a reason, for example, due to stock shortages or incomplete Customer information.
4.3: Customers must provide accurate personal and delivery details. Mealbars is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect information provided by the Customer.

5. Payment

5.1: Payment must be made using the payment methods offered on https://meal.bar/ (e.g., iDEAL, credit card, or other methods).
5.2: Payment is due at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed.
5.3: In case of non-payment, Mealbars may suspend or cancel the order and reserves the right to charge collection costs in accordance with local law.

6. Delivery

6.1: Mealbars delivers to regions it has made available to purchase from on the website, unless otherwise agreed.
6.2: Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Mealbars aims to deliver within 1-5 business days after order confirmation.
6.3: If delivery is delayed, Mealbars will inform the Customer as soon as possible. Delays do not entitle the Customer to compensation unless caused by gross negligence.
6.4: The risk of loss or damage to the Products transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the specified address.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1: In accordance with Dutch consumer law, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days after receiving the Products, without stating a reason.
7.2: To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify Mealbars in writing, via email to info@meal.bar, and return the Products unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging in order to receive a refund.
7.3: Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless the Products were delivered damaged or incorrect.
7.4: Mealbars will refund the purchase amount (excluding shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned Products, provided they meet the conditions in 7.2.
7.5: Exclusions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to Products that are perishable or have a limited shelf life if the packaging is opened, in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.

8. Product Quality and Complaints

8.1: Mealbars ensures that all Products meet the described specifications, are safe for consumption, and comply with local food safety regulations.
8.2: The Customer must inspect the Products upon receipt. Complaints about defects or incorrect deliveries must be reported to Mealbars within 7 days via info@meal.bar.
8.3: If a complaint is valid, Mealbars will replace the Product or refund the purchase amount, at its discretion.
8.4: Mealbars is not liable for damage caused by improper storage or use of the Products by the Customer.

9. Liability

9.1: Mealbars’ liability is limited to the purchase price of the Products, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
9.2: Mealbars is not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profits or health issues, unless caused by non-compliance with local food safety standards.
9.3: The Customer is responsible for checking the suitability of the Products (e.g., for allergies or dietary restrictions) before consumption.

10. Force Majeure

10.1: Mealbars is not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure, including but not limited to strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government regulations.
10.2: In case of force majeure, Mealbars will inform the Customer and may suspend or cancel the order, with a full refund if applicable.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1: Mealbars processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local privacy laws.
11.2: Customer data is used solely for order processing, delivery, and customer service. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property & reselling

12.1: All content on https://meal.bar/, including logos, images, and product descriptions, is the property of Mealbars and may not be used without permission.

• 12.2: It is not allowed to resell our products or to become a third party seller without our explicit consent.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

13.1: These Terms of Service and all agreements are governed by local law.
13.2: Disputes arising from purchases will be submitted to the competent court in city and country, unless the Customer opts for mediation.
